Overriding the Service Provider Configuration with URL Parameters

Use

The SAML service provider supports a number of URL parameters with which you can override the configuration.

Procedure

Enter the URL parameters manually, or develop your application insert the parameters into the URLs used to call the resources of the service provider.

URL Parameter	Description
saml2	Enter the value `disabled` to force a local logon to the application. You must have configured an alternative logon method for the application. You can also use this option to enable an application to log out locally. The user retains all other security sessions.
saml2authnpolicy	Override the authentication policy configured for the protected resource.
saml2idp	Override the identity provider configured for the protected resource. For more information, see Influencing the Identity Provider Used by the Service Provider Triggering Identity Provider Proxy
saml2nameidformat	Override the named ID format configured for the protected resource.
