An agreement is a legally binding document. However, if changes need to be made, a grantee can ask for the terms to be updated. Changes in this case can only be made within the limits of a change management process that was defined and mutually agreed upon previously.
You have made the required settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management
under .
You have activated the business function BRFplus for Grantor Management (CRM_ISPS_GTRBRFPLUS_1
).
The grantee requests changes using a Web request form. There will only be certain kinds of changes permitted, for example, changes to the amount available as a grant.
The changes are either agreed by the grantor or other authorized person manually or using pre-defined checks, set up using the Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus) or actions.
Every time a change is made, a PDF file is generated and attached to the agreement. This can be printed or e-mailed to the grantee.
The change process can be reused in other areas as well.
Once a change request is approved or rejected, a message is sent to the grantee, the change request status is set to Completed
, and the changes are updated in the agreement.
A standard example is delivered with the BRFplus application CRM_GRM_WR_DEMO_RULES
. The sample BRFplus function CHECK_CHANGE_REQUEST
validates that the dates entered on a form are within the validity period of a program.
