You use this predefined condition category to map interest penalties.
You use this condition category to represent the compensation for the bank if a customer makes an early withdrawal on her or his savings account. The interest penalty is linked directly to the credit interest.

Depending on the settings in the product attributes in Customizing, the maximum interest penalty could be the same as the credit interest, whereby the savings capital itself is not affected. If the interest penalty is posted in full, irrespective of the credit interest, then the savings capital can be debited.
