Purpose

After the mapping is defined using the Structure Mapper, for a map name, code has to be generated manually for the relevant mapping.

Process Flow

The code is generated by choosing the Single Map Generate button from the Structure Mapper front end for a single map only or by choosing the Generate button to generate code for all the map names.

Errors can be viewed by choosing the Error Status button after code generation.

This displays the errors that may have occured during the last generation process and is also refreshed each time the transaction (SMAP) is invoked. The user can also view the errors based on date and time by providing the appropriate input in the selection screen. The Selection screen appears on clicking the Error Status button.

After the code is generated for mapping, you have to switch to BDoc Generator Adapter front end and choose the Single Generation button to generate code for a specific BDoc‘ or choose Generate all to generate code for all BDoc messages.
