Providing Access to a Business Component

You use this procedure to provide complete or partial access to a role to access a business component in a mobile client application.

The role must have access to the application that contains the business component.

1. In the navigation bar, choose Role Maintenance ® Assign UI Rights.

The Role Hierarchy tile appears.

2. On the Role Hierarchy tile, expand the required role.

All the available mobile client applications are displayed.

3. Choose the mobile client application that contains the required business component.

The Rights tile displays all business components that belong to the mobile client application.

4. Perform the required sub-procedure based on your requirement.

To allow access only to the business component	... 1. On the Rights tile, select the checkbox provided in the Open field of the business component. 2. Choose Data ® Save.	The corresponding tile sets cannot be accessed.
To allow complete access to the business component, it’s corresponding tile sets, and tiles	... 1. On the Rights tile, select the required business component. 2. Choose Give Full Rights. 3. Choose Data ® Save.	This task takes a considerable amount of time to process because you have to provide access to many objects. If required, you can revoke the rights given to the business component by choosing Revoke Full Rights.
To allow access to the business component and controlled access to its tile sets and tiles	... 1. On the Rights tile, select the checkbox provided in the Open field of the business component. 2.
