Importing Classification Hierarchies 

Prerequisites

You have started the SAP BW Administrator Workbench and are in Modeling.

Procedure

 

       1.      Create the SAP BW types InfoArea, InfoObject, InfoCatalog and InfoSource (if they do not yet exist).

       2.      Define the transfer method for classification extraction and set up the BW hierarchy.

       3.      Import the hierarchy and check that the category name and hierarchy were successfully imported.
