Component documentation SAP ITS Standalone Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

This documentation describes all aspects of the standalone version of the  SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) and the SAP@Web Studio after installation.

·        The ITS Tuning and Troubleshooting Guide describes how to size and tune Internet Transaction Server (ITS) installations in order to optimize performance and also provides recommendations about troubleshooting.

·        The ITS Administration Guide covers all aspects of ITS administration

This document describes in particular how to use ITS Administration, which is a Web-based tool for managing, configuring and monitoring ITS installations.

Also included is a detailed description of how the ITS supports load balancing and multi-instance configurations through configuration of the WGate component and information about how the handling of multiple languages, log files and trace files.

·        ITS Implementation Models are the different programming models you can use to develop ITS-driven applications

Currently available implementation models include ITS Flow Logic, SAP GUI for HTML, Web Transactions, WebRFC and Web Reporting. There is a reference guide for each model and two tutorials provide step-by-step introductions to developing applications based on ITS Flow Logic and Web Transactions.

·        The SAP@Web Studio is a PC tool for developing ITS-driven applications outside the constraints of the SAP system.

The SAP@Web Studio documentation describes how you can use the SAP@Web Studio to create, edit, test and publish all the files required by the ITS to drive applications.

·        HTMLBusiness Language Reference is a reference guide to HTMLBusiness, which is an SAP-specific macro language that enables the ITS to merge SAP transaction screen data dynamically into HTML templates

·        ITS Service Parameters is a directory of service parameters and system variables used by the ITS to drive applications
