Background Information on Excel Functions
Scroll Bars
If there is no scroll bar displayed in a workbook:

If, on the other hand, you do not want to see the scroll bars, deactivate the options Horizontal Scroll Bar or Vertical Scroll Bar.
Freezing Columns
If you want to freeze a column:
If you want to stop the freeze function, choose Window ® Remove Freeze.

You can also use this function for rows. You can also freeze individual cells with a column and row freeze.
Sheet Protection

Sheet Protection instead.Formatting
You can format the workbook cells by using Excel functions. This goes for the cells of the query, too (title, filter cells, text elements, results area). However, when you refresh the query, the standard formatting for the query cells is restored and the settings for these cells are lost.
The Business Explorer Analyzer uses the Excel concept of format templates
Formatting results areas, filter cells, and cell areas for header information. Cells of the same type always have the same format template assigned to them. The format template applies to the entire workbook.Changing the format template in the current workbook:

We recommend you change the formatting of query cells by using the BEx toolbar.
