Use

You can check multimedia objects into the Knowledge Warehouse by creating them in the Info Object List.

Prerequisites

You are in the Info Object List.

Procedure

To create a multimedia object in the Info Object List:

  1. Position the cursor in the folder in which you want to create the content object.

    2. Note

    This step assigns the content object to the right folder.

    If you omit this step, the Find Folder dialog box is displayed and you must specify the required folder there.

  2. Choose Info Object ® Create.

    3. The Info Object Class dialog box appears:

  3. Choose the info object class Multimedia Object.

    4. The Select Source Object dialog box appears.

  4. Go to the directory containing the multimedia object.
  5. Choose the object and choose Open.

    6. The Create Attributes dialog box appears.

  6. Enter the required data.

Result

The multimedia object is created in the Info Object List and is thus checked into the Knowledge Warehouse.
