Creating Documents in the Web item List of
Documents
In the Web item List of Documents, or in the documents display for InfoProvider data, you can create a new text document in the Document Browser for the current selection. See Creating New Documents.
The restricted characteristics are handled here in the following way:
· All characteristics restricted to a single value are proposed as document properties.
· When restricting to Multiple Choice, up to six single values of the selection are proposed as document properties. This is the case when a hierarchy node is restricted, since this node is resolved into the contained leaves. The first six leaves of the hierarchy definition are proposed as document attributes. If there is no posted data for these leaves, no document icons are displayed for the document. The document can then only be reached from the context menu by choosing Goto ® Documents for Navigation Status.

You can change the value from six to <N>. Do so by making an entry with NAME=MAX_PROP and VALUE=N in the table RSODADMIN.
· With the restriction to “As DataProvider”, “Not Available” or “All”, no document properties are proposed.
· Additionally, the current InfoProvider and the query based on the DataProvider are also proposed as document properties
· Any of these document properties can be removed by clicking on the minus icon.

To create documents from the context of an individual cell, we recommend you use the function Goto ® Select Documents for Navigation Status. In this case, the restrictions are more specific than if you create documents from a cell or column, or for the entire navigation area. You can delete any properties that are too specific in the window for creating documents. However, you are not able to restrict properties further from here.
