Use

The Composite Application Framework (CAF Core) Security Manager permits restricting access to the CAF repository based on permissions configured in the CAF authorization view. The following procedure describes what you need to do to adjust the CAF Security Manager based on how many CAF servers you are using in conjunction to a portal server.

Procedure

       1.      Logon to the SAP NetWeaver Portal with  http://<EP_HOST>:<PORT>/irj.

       2.      Choose System Administration ® Systems Configuration ® Knowledge Management ® Content Management ® Repository Managers ® Security Managers ® CAF Security Manager.

Caution

If you are using more than one CAF server for a single portal, skip steps 3-4 and continue with steps 5-7 below.

       3.      The parameter URL of CAF webservice should point to the CAF server with the same host, port and protocol settings as in the settings for Adjusting the CAF Repository Manager.

       4.      Save your changes and restart the portal.

For more than one CAF server for a single portal do the following:

       5.      Complete steps 1-2 as above.

       6.      Create a new CAF Security Manager.

       7.      Replace the value Name with CAFSecurityManager_<name of machine>_<instance number>.

       8.      Set the parameter URL of CAF webservice by replacing <local host>:<port> with your J2EE 640 server name and port.

       9.      Save your changes and restart the portal.
