Prerequisites

You are processing online.

You have opened a content object.

Procedure

To insert a hyperlink:

  1. Choose the insertion position or choose the hyperlink hotspot text.
  2. Choose Insert Hyperlink.

    3. The Info Object Class dialog box appears:

  3. Choose an info object class.

    4. The Find Info Object dialog box appears.

  4. Enter your search criteria for the content object and start the search.

    5. The content objects found are listed.

  5. Choose the desired content object and choose Copy.

Result

A hyperlink to the chosen content object is inserted in the content object.

The link hotspot is highlighted in blue and underscored.

Note

If IMG documents are converted to HTML and stored in the Knowledge Warehouse, you can also insert hyperlinks to IMG documents in this way. Enter the name of the IMG document in the Technical Name field in the dialog box for the search for info objects.

Hyperlinks to glossary definitions can also be inserted in the same way.
