You can make settings for the user interface in several places in the system.

·        Folders

You can define the depiction for the individual folders or for the entire subordinate subtree in the Details dialog box. If you have the service permission Layout, you can define the depiction for all users. All users can also personalize how the folders are depicted (see Structure linkDepiction of the Folder Contents).

·        iView Properties

You can set an exclusive layout set in the iView properties.

·        Object Type Handler (OTH)

With the Object Type Handler you can define individual parameters, certain renderers, or a layout set. You can use it for individual folders, subtrees in repositories, or complete repositories.

·        Global Default Layout Profile

In the configuration of Content Management you can define a default layout profile to be used if nothing else is defined.

The priority of the settings depends on the layout set mode that you define in the iView properties:
