Managing Assortment List CategoriesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

This procedure describes how you can determine the product mix on category level by managing each of the categories included in your assortment list.

Prerequisites

You have created at least one assortment list. For more information, see Creating an Assortment List.

Procedure

To manage a category of your assortment list and determine the product mix, do the following:

  1. Display the assortment list category overview.

    You can do this either during the creation of the assortment list or by editing a previously saved assortment list.

  2. Select the required category.

  3. Choose Manage Category to view the category details.

  4. Optionally introduce new products by creating placeholder products, as described in Create Placeholder Products.

  5. Determine both product status and module assignment:

  6. Optionally define, edit, or delete guiding rules based on product attributes as described in Apply Attribute Rules.

  7. Evaluate planned figures as well as selected product statuses and module assignments in summaries, as described in Analyze Summaries.
