Creating a ModuleLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

As a planning administrator, you create a set of assortment modules to be used throughout various processes in SAP Assortment Planing for Retail.

Note

Only one planning administrator can modify the list of modules in the Manage Modules app at a time.

Prerequisites

You have provided settings in the Maintain Number Range for Assortment Modules Customizing activity under Start of the navigation path Cross-Application Components Next navigation step Assortment Planning for Retail Next navigation step Imported Demand Data Foundation Settings Next navigation step Data Maintenance Next navigation step Assortment Modules End of the navigation path.

Procedure

To create a new module:

  1. Choose the plus icon to create a new module.

    A new line is added to the list of modules.

  2. Enter a name and a description for the module.

    Modules names must be unique.

  3. Save the module list.

Result

The created modules can be used by assortment planners in option plans.
