Process documentation Instantiating a Procedure  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

This process is used to start a Guided Procedures process instance.

The form is integrated as a part of the process – it represents one step of the overall process. In addition, it is executed in the background, so there is no work item displayed for it in the worklist.

It runs in the usage types Enterprise Portal (EP) and Application Server (AP).

       1.      Download Form (EP)

The user receives the form by Email or accesses it by URL. The user downloads it locally.

       2.      Fill in form (offline)

The user fills in the form with the required data that will be used in the next process steps.

       3.      Send form (offline)

The form is then submitted to the Guided Procedures framework for further processing.

       4.      Generate work item (AS)

A work item for the next process step is generated.

Result

A workflow based on the form is created and a work item to process the form is generated.
