AFS Stock/Requirements List 

Use

You use the AFS stock/requirements list to view the stock/requirements situation for an AFS material at the SKU level (grid values and categories).

You can also use the function of selection rules for AFS materials in the stock/requirements list.

Prerequisite

To use the function of selection rules for AFS materials, you must activate the business function AFS, Production Planning (/AFS/PP_PPL).

 Features

●      Each time the AFS stock/requirements list is executed, the system selects the various MRP elements and displays the most up-to-date situation. Changes that are made after the planning date are displayed directly, the list is therefore dynamic.

●      AFS stock/requirements list maps the appropriate stock elements to the requirement elements at the SKU level and displays them in separate tabs according to MRP Statuses. The system considers the grid values and coverage strategy in the mappings.

●      In the AFS stock/requirements list, you can display the material overview tree and display customer and vendor information.

●      You can see the PIR consumption details in tab 3-Consumed Planned Requirements.

●      You can see the summarized quantities of the different types of MRP elements in the tab I-Additional Information.

Third-party information is not displayed in either the AFS stock/requirements list or the AFS MRP List, unless you implement the method CONSIDER_THIRDPARTY from the Business Add-In (BAdI) MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA.

The scope of the function of stock/ requirements list corresponds to that of the AFS MRP List.

Activities

●      To use the function of the stock/requirements list for AFS materials, go to SAP Easy Access screen and choose either of the following:

○       Logistics ® Production ® MRP ® Evaluations ® Stock/Requirements List (transaction MD04)

○       Logistics ® Production ® MRP ® AFS Analyses ® AFS Stock/Requirements List (transaction /AFS/MD04)

●      To define the selection rules in Customizing, choose Production ® Material Requirements Planning ® Evaluation ® Filter ® Define Selection Rules

●      To define the display filters in Customizing, choose Production ® Material Requirements Planning ® Evaluation ® Filter ® Define Display Filter

The options Display and Display Availability Relevance maintained for each MRP element in the customizing for selection rules, have the same effect in AFS stock requirements list (/AFS/MD04). The difference between the two options is relevant only for the standard stock/requirements list (MD04).
