Use

A variety of settings for the redlining function bar allow the notes and comments to be optimized for the current tasks of the user. These settings are saved according to user for the work center where the user is active.

These settings influence the display of original application files in all formats.

Prerequisites

You display the original application file with the integrated viewer in the standard SAP system. You selected the redlining function in the viewer function bar (Tools ® Redlining).

Procedure

In the redlining function bar choose Settings This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

You get the Enter Markup Options dialog window. The following overview displays the tab pages on which you can maintain the settings for 2D formats, and 3D models.

Tab Page

Settings

Lines

You set the line type, the line width, the line color, and the line ends.

Borders

You set the border type, the border width, and the border color.

Texts

You set the character formatting, the font, the font size, and the text color.

Fill

You set the filling attributes, for example the filling color, and the filling type.

Other

This tab page is only available for original application files in 2D format.

You choose the measurement function, the measurement process, and set the arrow ends.
