You use this process if your organization uses date validity and you want to select your worklist on the Engineering Workbench initial screen.

1. You choose your working area.

You use the working area to adapt the Engineering Workbench to the current tasks. The objects that the system copies to the worklist then always belong to those object types that interest you.

2. You enter selection criteria, to select the focus objects in your worklist. All the relevant selection criteria for each object type are available in the Engineering Workbench. You can combine as many selection criteria as you like.

3. You specify with which selection range you want to work.

4. The system copies the focus object you have selected as well as the environment objects to the worklist.
