Updating the Translation Hierarchy 

Use

This function copies the current application hierarchy to the translation hierarchy in the translation environment.

You must refresh the translation hierarchy at the start of your translation project, and whenever new collections are transported to or created directly in your translation system.

This ensures that the system offers the correct proposals for source texts in a specific application, such as application standards for the Basis domain when you translate objects that belong to a Basis collection.

Prerequisites

Your user profile includes the authorization object S_ADMI_FCD with the value TRNR in the System Administration Function field.

Procedure

       1.      Call transaction LXE_MASTER.

       2.      Choose Environment ® Create Package-Domain Assignment.

       3.      You can monitor the job’s progress in transaction SM37.
