Use

The report/report interface lets you execute other report groups, ABAP/4 programs, report portfolio reports, drilldown reports and transactions from a displayed report list.

For details about how to use the report/report interface in user-defined reports, see

Report Writer and Report Painter reports, see the section Using the Report/Report Interface under Report Writer Reports in the documentation Report Writer.

Features

Once you have selected an individual cell, a line, a column or a block, you can branch directly to another Profit Center Accounting standard report, by choosing Goto ® Call up report. The values you select determine the selection criteria with which you call up the other report.

In Profit Center Accounting standard reports, this is done for:

Profit Center Accounting Reporting allows you to access Cost Center Accounting when searching for the cause of certain profit dimensions. For an example, see Example: Branching to Cost Center Reports.

Note

Note that, when branching from the profit center reports, the selected values will only be passed on automatically as selection criteria if you call up a different profit center report or a cost center report. Otherwise, you branch to the selection screen of the report you called up instead.

You can branch from line item Reporting to the original posting documents via the individual documents.

Direct access to the corresponding FI documents is made in the line item reports FI Doc. Breakdown by payb./recv (see Standard Reports).

Activities

To use the report/report interface function, you must determine which receiver reports can be called from by the sender report. You do this by maintaining the libraries or report groups you are using.

If you choose report/report interface, the system calls up a dialog box, in which you can specify the receiver reports you require.

Note

The following applies for Report Painter reports:

If you define reports for the report/report interface both in the report group and in the report group library, the system uses the reports which you defined specially for the report group.
