The master data in Profit Center Accounting is the structural concepts according to which data can be posted and analyzed in Profit Center Accounting.

This master data includes any number of profit centers, a standard profit center hierarchy, a dummy profit center for non-assigned postings, and, if desired, a number of alternative profit center hierarchies.
