Use

This function enables you to select materials based on selection criteria. If you want to create a selection list with only a few materials, you can use the function Edit Selection List. That function allows you to enter individual materials.

Procedure

  1. Choose Accounting ® Controlling ® Product Cost Controlling ® Product Cost Planning ® Material Costing ® Costing Run ® Selection List ® Create.
  2. Enter the criteria for selection of materials.
  3. Enter a name for the selection list and a short description.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with quick info text Execute.

The system displays a list with the selected materials. Here you can remove individual materials from the selection list by deselecting them.
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with quick info text Save.

Result

The selection list is now available for costing runs.

You can edit the selection list, such as by copying it or adding additional materials. For more information, see Editing a Selection List.
