Use

As of R/3 4.7, change pointers can be read much more quickly due to the introduction of a new table. So that POS outbound can use this table, all the old change pointers have to be migrated into the new table.

Prerequisites

You should not activate the change message in POS outbound during the migration process.

Procedure

  1. If possible, reorganize POS outbound first. Start the program, RWDPOSRS.
  1. Delete the change pointers that have already been processed by the reorganization tool in the ALE layer (program RBDCPCLR).
  1. Start transaction SM30 (maintenance view) and enter the relevant data in view V_TBDME. Place your cursor on the POS-relevant outbound data (see the table in the section Customizing in the ALE Layer). For the POS-relevant message type, set the indicator BDCP2 ok.
  1. Migrate the change pointer repositories using report RBDCPMIG by entering the message types in the selection screen.

Result

The existing change pointers are migrated in the new table.
