Use

This function is used by the system to determine which data has to be transferred to the recipient.

Integration

The data transferred originates as follows:

Prerequisites

You define the scope of the data to be transferred for an article in Customizing in the control profile valid for the article. The control profiles can be maintained in Customizing for Purchasing in the Message section under EDI.

Features

Data Defined

You can transfer the following data:

In Customizing, the stock types you want to be included in the stock figure transferred can be assigned to the control profile.

The sales figures are taken from an information structure in the Retail Information System (RIS) and always refer to a period. By entering a time period on the selection screen of the report, you can determine the number of periods for which you want to transfer sales data.

You can transfer the following categories of sales data:

You have to maintain the access parameters for an RIS information structure in the control profile for each category of data to be transferred. The standard configuration of SAP Retail contains information structures S083 and S139 for historical and sales data not specific to any promotions.

The information structures contain at least one key figure as a comparison quantity. The updating of this key figure prevents the same sales data being transferred more than once (see Comparison Quantity). The comparison quantity is of internal relevance only and is not transferred to the vendor.

Historical or forecast sales data for promotions can be transferred via information structure S130. A second key figure exists as a comparison quantity for promotion data. You can also use self-defined information structures for transferring sales data.

Changing Data to Meet Your Own Requirements

You use user exit EXIT_SAPLWVMI_001 to change the data as required before it is transferred.
