Selection List
Use
If the criteria available for selecting materials for a
costing run do not meet your needs, you can create a selection list that uses additional selection criteria. You then execute the costing run based on the materials in the selection list.If you don’t want to cost all selected materials, you can remove materials from the selection list (for example, individual materials in a selection interval). You can also add individual materials to the selection list that do not match the selection criteria.
Structure
The selection list contains the material number and the plant. The
results list of material selection displays additional data that are not saved with the selection list. If you need additional data so that you can edit the selection list, you can add the required data using a

The contents of the selection list are not automatically updated based on the selection criteria.
You create a selection list that contains only materials without a current standard cost estimate. Then someone creates a standard cost estimate for a material in your selection list. If you now execute a costing run based on your selection list, the material will be costed.
