Use

If you enter an inbound delivery (on the basis of a shipping notification, for example) or a rough goods receipt for a purchase order that contains SLS data, the SLS data and sub-items in the purchase order are included in the inbound delivery. You can also enter a goods receipt referencing the inbound delivery or rough goods receipt. The SLS sub-items are then included in the goods receipt document in the relevant quantity.

Prerequisites

For SLS sub-items to be generated in the inbound delivery or rough goods receipt, the control table for the delivery application has to be maintained in the SLS service profile (in Customizing for Merchandise Distribution). The relevant combination of event/delivery type (for example, Create/Inbound delivery) must be assigned a follow-up action appropriate to the SLS.

Features

The features are the same as in the case of outbound deliveries (see SLS: Outbound Delivery).
