Requirements Planning: Special Article Categories
Use
This section explains the special features of the following article categories in connection with requirements planning:
When time-phased planning is active, the system can determine the requirement for the header article of a structured article from the components.
When a generic article has logistical variants, the procurement variant can differ from the sales variant. Requirements are planned in this case for the procurement variant, whereby the system determines the requirement on the basis of the forecast values for the sales variant.
