Status Tables and Change Pointers

Use

This procedure enables you to remove unnecessary POS interface - outbound and assortment list data from your SAP system. Examples of this type of data are status lines from logs, change pointers, relevant log records and IDocs. For more information, see Deleting Status Tables and Change Pointers.

Procedure

In the initial SAP Retail System menu, choose

for the POS interface - outbound: Distributed retailing ® POS interface ® Outbound ® Status reorganization

for the assortment list: Master data ® Assortment/listing ® Environment ® Assortment List ® Reorganize status

Choose Reorganize POS Interface if you want to reorganize the POS interface – outbound. If you want to reorganize the assortment list, choose Reorganize Assortment List.

If you do not want the IDocs to be reorganized, choose Do Not Delete IDocs.

Choose Execute.

The system then displays how many entries have been selected.

If you want to view these entries, choose Header entries ® Display selected entries.

If you want to delete these entries, select Header entries ® Delete.

To delete change pointers that are flagged for deletion, choose Periodic work ® Reorganization ® Change pointers in the administration menu of the ALE layer.
