Use
The number and sequence of the individual release statuses depend on the control points through which the reports must pass. You can adjust the status network to meet your requirements.
Features
Release Stages
The person responsible can accept or reject the report in every release status. Accepting a report transfers it to the next release status. If a report is rejected, it is then deleted (see
Example: Status Network for Release).Your internal organization should ensure that the reason for the report being rejected can be corrected.
Bypassing Release
In the generation variant header, you use the Initial release status field to specify:
A report can bypass release status altogether if you have defined CO (Completed) or RE (Released) as the initial status.
This means that you can start at any point in the release process.
