This standard analysis is fundamental in analyzing buying behavior.

If a regular customer analysis is performed using exception reporting (for example, sales >100, number of items > 20) you can use these transaction numbers to branch to further market-basket analyses from information structure S117.

You can use the key figure matrix to perform enlightening customer frequency analyses. You need to select a key figure (such as number of transactions) and two characteristics (day of week and hour of sale, for example). This would give you an evaluation of the number of customers that visited the store on a particular day or at a particular time.

The Market-Basket Analysis: Receipt standard analysis is based on data that the system updates to information structure S119.
