Definition

This standard analysis is used for evaluating season management for fashion articles.

Use

This standard analysis allows you to use data on seasonal or fashion articles to support Purchasing or Sales. As the focal point of this analysis is textiles, evaluations of particular clothing sizes, colors and fashion indicators and the corresponding selection and drilldown parameters are supported. This standard analysis allows the following perspectives on seasonal business with fashion articles:

Purchasing can analyze the current stock, sales and markdowns to determine whether replenishment is necessary (during the summer sales, for example). Sales can use the current stock and sales data to implement markdowns in good time. This avoids the stock being written off completely.

Once a season (Fall, for example) has ended, you can analyze important key figures from that season to help you create your assortment for the next Fall season. This will enable you to avoid wrong decisions.

Structure

The standard analysis Season is based on data updated to information structures S105 (stock data) and S106 (movement data). When you run this standard analysis, the system reads in data from these information structures, makes retroactive stock calculations and determines the calculated key figures for information structure S107.
