You can plan replenishments as follows:

Procedure

To plan replenishments manually, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose Logistics ® Sales and distribution ® Sales and then Order ® Customer replenishment and then Replenishment planning ® Execute.
  2. On the Customer replenishment (VMI) screen, enter a customer or a customer group. Narrow down your selection further by materials and material groups.
  3. Choose Program ® Execute to obtain a list of replenishment requirements for the selected customer(s).
  4. To change quantities, proceed as follows: a window appears detailing stock levels and the resulting replenishment requirements. Change the replenishment requirements as required.
  5. Choose Replenishment requirements ® Generate follow-on document. The system saves the quantities and generates sales orders.
  6. You can then branch to the Replenishment monitor screen or the parameter overview screen. Here you view the errors, the workitems created and the generated documents. On the parameter overview screen, to obtain this information first click on the ID of the replenishment run.

If you run the program in the background, this must be scheduled as a job in the system. If the system runs inbound processing for POS data or for customer stock and sales data, this must be complete before replenishments can be planned.
