Use

If you generate collective purchase orders online, you can either process the collective purchase orders individually or via a worklist.

This form of processing is suited for large volumes of data. The system suggests potential collective purchase order items on the basis of what you enter. It displays various information for each item, including the article, quantity and distribution center. The following functions are available on the display screen of the worklist:

In the worklist no sources of supply are initially assigned to the items. You can either enter sources of supply manually or run the supply source determination function and have the system make suggestions.

For further information, see Supply Source Determination.

Once you have finished processing, you can trigger the generation of collective purchase orders. The system now runs the supply source determination function for all items that do not have a source of supply at this point. It generates purchase orders from the collective purchase order items for each vendor and distribution center.

You can edit the details of potential collective purchase order items and then put them in the worklist. In this way, you can create the worklist and thus the collective purchase order as you require.

The system displays various information for each item, including the article, the distribution center, schedule lines in the collective purchase order, and the schedule lines in the corresponding issue documents. The following functions are available on the details display screen:

You can trigger quantity optimizing online for the schedule lines in the current collective purchase order item. Alternatively, you can set the order optimizing indicator so that the schedule lines are only optimized when the collective purchase order is generated.

Once you finish processing the details, you can generate collective purchase orders either for the current item or for the whole worklist.
