Use

This procedure describes how you can enter competitor prices in price lists that have already been created in the system and post them to the database as condition records.

Prerequisites

You enter the competitor prices in price entry lists. If you have not yet created price entry lists for this purpose, you can do this in the system using the competitor price entry function. For further information, see Creating and Printing Price Entry Lists.

The procedure outlined below describes how you transfer competitor prices to price entry lists that have already been created in the system.

Procedure

  1. From the initial screen of Pricing, choose Conditions ® Price entry ® Change.
  2. Enter the document number of the competitor price entry that contains the price entry list in which you want to enter the competitor prices.
  3. Choose Execute.
  4. You are now in an overview screen that contains a list of all the stores that you have entered for price entry at particular competitor stores. The individual price entry lists are listed below the entry plants.

  5. Select the price entry list that contains the competitor, article(s) and organizational level for which you want to enter competitor prices.
  6. You go to a screen on which the price entry list is displayed.

  7. Enter the competitor prices.
  8. You can change the data in the fields that are ready for input if necessary.

  9. Activate the prices.
  10. Save the competitor price entry.

Results

The competitor prices are posted as condition records in the system and can be displayed, changed and used for generating suggested prices in the sales price calculation function.
