Use

Planning steps are the main components of planning scenarios. A number of planning step methods are available. The most important method is manual planning. Manual planning is used to enter planning data for selected key figures and planning levels in freely-definable entry screens (planning layouts) and have the system calculate dependent planning data.

Features

You can freely configure the structure of the planning key figure entry screen (planning layout). In doing so, you are determining the planning levels (characteristics) and the key figures for a planning session.

The Screen Flow for the planning session includes:

You can run manual planning bottom-up or top-down.

Average retail enables you to run Planning on a Value Basis and on a Quantity Basis.

Time-Based Distribution Keys are used to distribute planning data to individual periods.

When using Excel Integration in your planning, Microsoft Excel replaces the SAP interface for entering data. This allows you to combine SAP functions with the flexible functions that Excel offers. The data is combined in the SAP System.

You can use Planning Interfaces to create allocation tables and promotions in manual planning, based on planning data.
