Additional Key Figures

Use

You can use your own additional key figures and key figures taken from existing info structures in planning. The additional key figures are displayed in planning layouts for your reference. Additional key figures can also be used to create formulas. Additional key figures are also used to integrate information from selected database tables in planning (for example, market research institutes).

Additional key figures cannot be planned as they are only imported to the System and made available during manual planning.

Features

There are two methods for preparing values for additional key figures:

The additional key figure is the result field for a key figure formula.

The additional key figure is supplied using exit WISPL003 that has been defined especially for this purpose. For more information about this, see SAP Enhancements (Customer Exits) for Planning.

SAP delivers numerous additional key figures that already contain values. Value and Quantity-Base Planning (Average Retail) is thus used as an additional key figure.
