Use

This function is used for the following purposes:

The system displays the reference document and you enter the actual quantity received.

In the background, the system creates a purchase order for the articles and quantities entered.

Prerequisites

This function requires all the Materials Management and delivery functions.

The Customizing settings for entering goods receipts must be maintained. The following specific Customizing settings can be found in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under SAP Retail Store: Basic Settings for Goods Receipts.

Users of this function are store associates who are responsible for processing goods receipts and carrying out other materials management functions.

Authorization/security

You do not require any authorizations beyond those that are required for Materials Management and Inventory Management in the SAP System.

Standard settings and predefined data are controlled via Customizing for goods receipt in SAP Retail Store.

Features

The functionality for entering goods receipts in SAP Retail Store has an intentionally smaller scope compared to entering goods receipts in the rest of the SAP System. This makes entry of data in the store more efficient.

The system requires standard Materials Management and Inventory Management functions from the SAP System to post data and update inventory.
