Use

You use this procedure if withdrawals of serialized components already exist.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Customer Service ® Management of technical objects ® Installed base ® Create (special) ® With reference to production data or Logistics ® Plant maintenance ® Management of technical objects ® Installed base ® Create (special) ® With reference to production data.
  2. In the standard system, the list input screen appears. To change the type of processing, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text List<->Tree.

  3. Enter an order number or a material with serial number.
  4. You define whether explosion of the order structure is to be single-level or multi-level.
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Explode.

The order structure is displayed in the left half of the screen. Under the order structure you see the available serial numbers for the material that is selected in the order structure. Serial numbers that are already used in an as-built configuration are marked with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. Serial numbers that are not yet used in an as-built configuration are marked with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

  1. You can now create new as-built configurations or change existing as-built configurations.

To create a new as-built configuration, proceed as follows:

    1. Select the material for which you want to create a new as-built configuration.
    2. The serial numbers that are available for this material appear.

    3. Select the serial number (item is marked with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).
    4. Assign the serial number to the item This graphic is explained in the accompanying text As-built configuration.
    5. You can extend an as-built configuration by carrying out more assignments (see change).

To change (extend) an existing as-built configuration, proceed as follows:

    1. Select the material for which you want to change the as-built configuration.
    2. The serial numbers that are available for this material appear.

    3. Select the serial number (item is marked with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).
    4. Assign the serial number to the item This graphic is explained in the accompanying text As-built configuration.
    5. An existing as-built configuration appears on the right of the screen.

    6. Select the material that you want to assign to an item of the existing as-built configuration.
    7. Select the serial number (item is marked with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).
    8. Assign the serial number to an item of the existing as-built configuration using Drag&Drop.

The assigned materials are transferred to the structure, but are not yet saved in the as-built configuration (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text symbol for a component, This graphic is explained in the accompanying text for the top-level material in an as-built configuration). Materials that are already part of an as-built configuration are marked with the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text symbol. To reverse an assignment, select the assignment and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Note

You can also carry out assignment by selecting the serial number and the item in the as-built configuration to which you want to assign the serial number and then choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
