Procedure

  1. In the list of transfers, select the one you want to edit and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Postprocessing. A new screen appears. In the display list you will see the erroneous data records. You can maneuver within a data record by using the arrow keys (on the keyboard). The data in the current cursor position will be offset.
  2. Select a data record and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. The screen Sender Records appears.
  3. Correct the erroneous content.
  4. If you are correcting more than one record, you can choose among the different records by using the arrow keys (on the keyboard).

The left-most three columns in the table, F (front), M (middle), and B (back), cause the lines to be rearranged. This will make it easier to correct data when the sender structure has a lot of fields, but you do not have to correct the data in all of them. You can not save these settings. The next time you call up the screen, the fields will be displayed in their normal order again. When merely switching between records, however, the settings will remain the same.

  5. You can write individual records, or all data records to a separate file by choosing File ® Physical. You then enter a name for the file, select the relevant data records to be written to the file, and choose Write selected.
  6. To transfer the corrected data records, select them and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .
  7. If no errors occur during the test run, you can transfer the corrected data records by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. It is not possible to only transfer part of the corrected data records. You can, however, delete individual records from the list before a real transfer.

Result

The corrected data records are now in the R/3 data pool and can be processed in the R/3 system.
