Use

When you revaluate the inventory of an article, a document is created that contains all the information pertaining to the change in retail value. You can only create, change or display retail revaluation documents if you have the necessary authorization (Authorization object W_WBEF_WRK).

Features

The retail revaluation document fulfills the following purposes:

The document consists of a header and items. The header contains information such as the posting date, the name of the person making the change, or the status of the document. The items contain information such as the status of the item, the site, the storage location, the article number, the reason for the price change, the previous sales price and the new sales price.

You can create a list of retail revaluation documents and limit your selection by document numbers, dates, organizational level, and reasons for the price change.

Retail revaluation documents can support the work involved in counting the stock of an article. You can generate the documents automatically in the background using the automatic revaluation at retail function. All document items are therefore given the status "Count is still to be carried out."

The following options exist for subsequent processing, after a count has been carried out in the store.

If processing is successful, the items all receive the status "Revaluation complete." If individual lines cannot be processed, they are assigned the status "Count complete". In this case you must postprocess the lines manually.

All items in a retail revaluation document that have the status "Revaluation complete" are passed onto the Retail Information System (RIS). An information structure is created for the data and is available for analysis.

You can have the system list the documents and branch to the individual display for each document. You are able to display the information in the format you require, for example, by defining your own display variants.

You use archiving object W_VKAB to archive retail revaluation documents.
