Use

The manual revaluation at retail function is used for revaluating specific stocks of articles in a site. You can either revaluate the whole stock or part of the stock. A collective entry screen makes it easier for you to enter the data.

Features

There are two kinds of manual revaluation:

The total stock of an article is revaluated.

Only some of the stock of an article is revaluated. You must enter the quantity both for quantity and value-based and value-only Inventory Management. When the stock of an article is managed on a value-only basis, you have to enter the quantity for each storage location concerned.

For inventory managed on a quantity and value-basis, the retail value of the stock is only managed at company code level, and is therefore the same for all storage locations. For value-only articles, the retail value is managed at both company code and storage location level. When revaluating a value-only article therefore, you have to enter the quantity for each storage location concerned.

If price fixing applies to an article and local markdowns are defined in the revaluation profile, the revaluation results in a warning message being displayed in the case of a suggested retail price, or an error message in the case of a fixed price.

When you revaluate online, you require the authorization for creating retail revaluation documents (authorization object W_WBEF_WRK).
