Inventory Management: Managing Empties Components in Bills of Material
Use
You can assign each unit of measure of a full product an empties bill of material.
Prerequisites
Before you create a bill of material, you must create an article master record for the full product and also for the empties components. The standard system contains the article type VOLL for full products and LGUT for empties.
Example
The unit "crate" of the full product "beer" is made up of two components:
