Use
The central control parameter is the procedure for additionals, which you maintain in Customizing for Logistics in Additionals. This procedure controls the time at which specific follow-up actions are triggered for additionals (for example, generating an additionals IDoc). The IMG documentation contains examples of procedures for additionals.
Features
If follow-up actions for additionals are to be triggered in a procedure for additionals because of specific events, you must assign the follow-up action to the appropriate application in the control tables. The following describes the most important control table parameters:
To specify that data for additionals is to be copied into the assortment list IDoc when an assortment list is generated, it is sufficient to flag the procedure for additionals accordingly. You do not have to maintain the control tables in this situation.

For technical reasons, shipping notifications and rough goods receipt documents belong to the Delivery application.
Event
Event and application references provide a link to a unique transaction, such as Create purchase order, Change purchase order or Create goods receipt. Possible events include:
This is the only event that is defined for goods movements, as reversing the goods movement is represented by the reversal movement type.
Follow-up action
The follow-up action defines how the system reacts to a particular event. If an event occurs, the system checks if follow-up actions are necessary for the additional for the relevant article and executes the action, if necessary. In the case of structured articles, the system also executes the necessary follow-up action for the components. Possible follow-up actions include:
