Procedure

  1. On the Create Allocation Table: Initial Screen enter the allocation rule type and organizational data.
  2. Choose ENTER.

  3. Enter the header data on the item overview screen. Choose Goto ® Header, to enter further header data.
  4. Maintain the item data on the item overview screen.
  5. Decide how you want the system to support you in distributing the quantities.
  1. You can also enter procurement information (external vendor or distribution center) as a default value for all stores in an item.
  2. If an item in an allocation table is not linked to a reference document, you can trigger the supply source determination function manually (depending on the item category setting). Select an item and choose Edit ® Sources of supply.

If more than one possible source of supply is found by the system, a dialog box appears in which you can select a source of supply.

  3. Select an allocation table item on the item overview screen and choose Goto ® Items ® Details. The details screen of the item appears. Here you see additional data for the item. You can change this data as required.

You can, for example, maintain item texts and notes. Notes are internal and are only displayed in the allocation table; item texts, on the other hand, can be printed or used in notifications.

After you have maintained the necessary information, return to the item overview screen via Goto ® Items ® Item overview.

  1. Select an allocation table item on the overview screen and choose Goto ® Site groups ® Site groups in item. The site group level appears. Enter site groups and change quotas as required.

Note

If you wish to display the view for an individual site for a selected allocation table item on the item overview screen (via Goto ® Site ® Site groups in item), you can also maintain sites for which the system then makes into a group. This site group is only used and recorded in the allocation table and has no relevance to the Classification System.

  1. Select a site group and choose Goto ® Sites ® Sites in site group. The individual site view appears. Delete or add sites as required and split up or change the quantities as required.
  2. Select a site and choose Goto ® Site ® Details to define the delivery phases for the site. To enter message types in additional to those (allocation table notification, request notification) found via the notification category, choose on the details screen Goto ® Messages.(Remember that messages in the SAP system can also be referred to as output.)
  3. Procurement from a Distribution Center
If goods are to be procured via a distribution center (item-category-dependent), certain data has to be maintained for the distribution center.
  1. On the details screen for the distribution center, you can maintain delivery phases and define how the merchandise is processed in the distribution center. Select a distribution center and choose Goto ® Distribution centers ® Details.
  2. On the item overview screen, you can choose Edit ® More functions ® Fast change ® ... to make fast changes to allocation table item data or distribution center data.
  3. Save the allocation table.
