The role allows you to make settings in the areas of Customizing that deal with resources. You can define shift sequences and transition matrices. Furthermore, you can display public holiday and factory calendars.

Public holiday and factory calendars are cross-client. For this reason, the role only contains authorization to display the calendars. If role users want to maintain public holiday and factory calendars, they must obtain authorization to maintain calendars as well as to maintain cross-client tables.

If you want to set up maintenance authorization, extend the authorization profile of the role by choosing Basis - Central Functions ® Public holiday and factory calendar maintenance and Basis: Administration ® Cross-Client Table Maintenance.
