Define results
analysis periods
The following periods are relevant for results
analysis and for calculating work in process:
- Start of results analysis
This period is
determined automatically in results analysis. The start of results analysis is
either the period in which the order or project was opened or the period in
which the first posting was made (if postings were made
retroactively).
The cutoff period
determines how the life cycle of the object is divided into open and closed
periods.
You specify this
period separately for each results analysis version. The results analysis data
from the start of results analysis up to and including the cutoff period
remains frozen.
The periods after
the cutoff period are open periods, which means that the results analysis data
can change.
You enter the
results analysis period when carrying out results analysis. Results analysis
is carried out on the order or project up to and including the results
analysis period.
You can also set the following indicators for
each results analysis key and system status:
- Definition of the cutoff period
You can use this
indicator to set the cutoff period to the period before the results analysis
period.
You can use this
indicator to set the results analysis period automatically to the last period
in which actual costs were posted to the object if that period is after the
results analysis period.
