Tasks

Sales and profit planning is very closely integrated with planning in other applications. The transactions for this role enable data to be transferred between Profitability Analysis and other applications. Furthermore, you also have the option of transferring to Profitability Analysis planning data that was created using Integrated Excel.

Activities in Profitability Analysis

Transferring overhead using assessment or indirect activity allocation

Transfer of order/project planning data

Transfer of Profitability Analysis to different applications, such as Sales and Operations Planning (SOP), Financial Accounting (FI-GL), or Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA)

Uploading planning data from Excel

Integration

To use the Excel uploading function, you need to have set up Integrated Excel using the role Setting Up Sales and Profit Planning (SAP_CO_PA_PLANNING_SETUP).
