You can define a document type for each transaction for entering G/L account postings. This document type is then proposed as a default value. You can however, overwrite the document type proposed if the field Document type is ready for entry when you enter the posting. If you do not define a document type, the system proposes standard document types, for example, SA for entering G/L account postings.
