Define Costing Types

In this step, you define the costing type for the base object costing or ad hoc cost estimate. In addition you specify the valuation view to be costed.

Standard Settings

The standard system contains costing type 02 for base object cost estimates and 26 for ad hoc cost estimates.

Activities

1. To create your own costing types, choose New Entries.

2. Enter an alphanumeric key and a description.

3. Select the valuation view with which the costing type is to be costed.

4. Save your entries.
